Well Rebecca and I arrived in Las Vegas yesterday after a 5 hour flight that was pretty smooth. We are out here so that I can attend Autodesk University (AU). AU is held once a year in Vegas and this year my boss and I got to go. While out here I am hoping to get to see the Hoover Dam, which I can probably give tours on because of the history channel, Red Rock Canyon, and anything else that we can find the time to fit in. In the meantime I will try to update this gallery with the most recent pics from the trip. Until I find a usb cable for my camera, which I left at home, all the pics will have to be downloaded from my phone and might not look too clear.

Yeah, the Chipotle has opened up about two miles from my house. For those of you who don’t know what Chipotle is (I pity you), they have the best burritos anywhere.

Well I have finally done it. I have joined the ranks of the LCD TV owners. I bought a 23″ Dell LCD television for my bedroom. Yes my bedroom. I am still waiting for prices to drop on the real big guys before I get on e for my family room. Well at least this gives me a stepping stone toward getting the big television. I am kind of going out on a limb because I bought a refurbished one, but since I was able to get the TV, wall mount, and a one year if I accidentally drop it out the window it’s replaced warranty for less then the same model TV new, I thought it was a good idea. I even sprung for the next day shipping and the price is still cheaper. No more 15 year old 13” TV anymore. That one is going to be retired to the spare bedroom for now.

I saw the Star Wars Episode III trailer today and I can’t wait till it comes out. A lot of stuff has to happen in order to get them to the point where the original star wars starts.

Well Rebecca and I had a little challenge for ourselves this week, and we couldn’t accomplish it. We eat out at restaurants every night and maybe cook in once a month. Well we set out this week to cook at home all week, except Friday since we were going out for our anniversary. It all started Sunday when I made some Italian meatballs out of buffalo (they kicked ass). Monday I came home to a nice baked chicken breast with rice and carrots, Tuesday Rebecca didn’t feel well so I made myself a microwave lasagna, and Wednesday was grilled cheese and soup (canned soup sucks though). We were set one day left and we had planned on making enchiladas, but that’s when everything broke down. It was a cold and rainy night and Rebecca had decided that she didn’t want to cook at home, and since I have no will power either we had decided to go to bertucci’s. And it was good. Well I guess we will have to try again soon and hopefully I can stick to my guns.
